As a longtime follower of Aesop (and, more recently, the band No Cure), I was incredibly excited to have an opportunity to photograph her. The location was a gorgeous graveyard (a first for me) in Birmingham, AL, and the shoot was a lot of fun and yielded many beautiful images.

I am Joshua, a queer-friendly portrait and wedding photographer from Prattville, AL. I’ve been shooting professionally for over ten years, but I took a break during COVID-19 when my full-time job became more intense. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my site and social media presence (so please feel free to ask to see any work that you may not see here). I love traveling and meeting new people, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you are outside my area.
I am very excited to announce that I am booking portrait sessions and headshots (including in-home/office or on-location) for the Fall and Winter of 2024!
Mini Sessions: These are 30-minute sessions for $75 and include 10-15 edited digital images.
Full Session: This 1-hour session for $135 includes 20-30 edited digital images.
Film portraits are available as well. Rates vary.
Both the Mini and Full sessions included unlimited printing and usage rights for the digital images. This means that once you have the images, they belong to you to use however you would like. There are no additional charges for usage or printing.
I am also excited to announce that I am currently booking weddings and elopements from September 2024 to December 2025. I have limited spaces available, as I will only be booking two weddings or elopements per month.
Weddings up to 4 hours: Rate @ $150/hr. (ex., a 3-hour wedding will be $450)
Wedding longer than 4 hours: Rate @ $200/hr. (ex., a 6 hour wedding will be $1200)
Wedding shoots typically involve one shooter and include prep images, venue images, the ceremony, bride and groom portraits, family and wedding party photos, and photos during the reception (but these can be changed to fit your wedding). Edited digital files will be available via Dropbox within three weeks of the wedding with the same printing and usage rights listed above.
*A travel fee will be added for weddings outside of 100 miles of Prattville, AL. This fee will be discussed at the time of booking.
